![]() The guy also has a black belt after practicing martial arts for 16 years, and even I didn't know that until doing some research, so you might not want to mess with him. The first time he ever gave it a shot was when he was 8 years old, which is kinda cool if you ask me. One day when Bryce went with his dad to work in the studio, they let him voice act and they said he was good, so Bryce followed his parents' footsteps and ended up going full time with voice acting. Some cool things to note are that his parents were actually have both voice actors. Has been in the voice acting game since 2000Ĭurrently 32 years of age and living in Los Angeles, California Let's talk more about the man himself though. And yes, I've checked out the sub for all of the shows that the characters I'll mention are in. As for the person I'll pick to be in my blog for #TheManyVoices challenge, Bryce Papenbrook is my favorite English voice actor because not only has he voiced so many famous characters, I believe that he has done a fantastic job at letting his colorful personality shine in the characters that he voices, and because of him, I really do feel like I ended up liking these characters more than if I were to watch them in sub. I can pretty much make an entire post about this but I wanna stick with the subject for this blog lol. There are some great shows that have amazing dubs, for example: Steins Gate, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, and much more. The reason I'm even saying all this is because I don't want people to think I'm a "normie" just because I enjoy watching some shows in dub. And if I choose sub and I don't like that either, I'll check out the dub and if I like it better than the sub version, I'll stick with it. Like, if I choose dub and it sucks, I'll go right to sub. So for me, when picking whether I should watch a show in sub or dub, I won't really care which one I choose. And I don't think my opinion will ever change, because I can acknowledge that some dubs suck, and some dubs are actually really good. I've never gone through that phase where I started to hate dub. Now, I eventually got used to reading subtitles as I started to watch more and more anime, because it just becomes natural to read and watch at the same time. I actually came to really enjoy the show as a beginner anime watcher (Until realizing how any mistakes that show made), and a big part of that is because the main character was voiced by Bryce Papenbrook, who has come to be my favorite English voice actor. It being my first anime, you can bet that I watched it in dub because I really didn't want to read subtitles as someone who barely even knew what anime was. It all started with EVERYONE'S favorite anime, Sword Art Online. I've been watching anime for almost a year and a half, and I feel like I've gotten really used to it. ![]() To be honest, I don't even know what being average is anymore. I just wanna say this right now, I'm not your average anime watcher. ![]() Yo it's your boy Tris back with another blog for you dudes. ![]()
